Katja Restović is an academic sculptress who explores form, light, and texture through photography. After many years in fashion photography and directing music videos, she developed a personal and intimate approach to black-and-white imagery, where strong contrasts and minimal gestures create emotionally charged, conceptual scenes. She has exhibited in several group shows and held a solo exhibition in Rotterdam, the Netherlands.
The formats of her black-and-white works reach up to 4 by 2 meters, often accompanied by a light installation behind the image. Beneath their surfaces lies a structured pixel layering with which the artist playfully experiments—particularly in these large-scale formats that achieve a monumental presence and powerfully define the space they inhabit.
