While preparing the project, Restović met Toše Proeski — an artist of exceptional warmth, politeness and professionalism. Although the video was never realized due to his tragic passing the night before filming, the encounter is remembered for its humanity rather than its artistic potential.
Together with Rus and Proeski, a vision for an emotionally powerful visual narrative was beginning to form. Toše left a profound impression with his humility and talent.
“I will always remember his smile, modesty and simplicity. The aura around him, his charisma — it was something I have rarely experienced in life,” says Katja Restović.
