Three novels that defined her early literary phase
At the beginning of the 2000s, the author published the novels Pan American Highway, Henry Tools Film and Placida Curatto with the publisher Dušević–Kršovnik.
Although she was already well established in the field of visual arts, in 2001–2002 Katja Restović entered the literary world under the pseudonym Eva Lucas. These novels were written during a period of intense exploration of film narrative and multimedia, which is reflected in their structure and rhythm.
Both readers and critics recognized them as works that blend filmic poetics, travelogue elements and psychological reflections on identity. Today, they are viewed as important early examples of her multimedia approach to storytelling.
