Young, handsome and successful \u2014 this is the simplest way to describe Luka Sko\u010dili\u0107, a world-class model who grew up in Fa\u017eana, Croatia. Today he is chosen by major fashion houses, appears on magazine covers, walks prestigious runways and shoots campaigns for global brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He entered the world of modeling driven by a desire to travel, explore cultures, meet people and see the world \u2014 because, as he says, all of that has value.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Milan \u2014 the first big step<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luka\u2019s interest in modeling emerged during his university studies in Rijeka. Due to academic commitments, however, he eventually moved to Zagreb for the final two years of his postgraduate studies \u2014 partly for a change of environment, and partly to take the first serious steps in fashion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThey connected me with my first agent, Belizar Vali\u0107, and soon we began shooting my first campaigns and commercials in Croatia. Some of them were for Varteks, a collaboration with Boris Banovi\u0107, the Cedevita commercial, and more,\u201d Luka recalls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His true breakthrough happened in Milan, the heart of global fashion.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIt was incredibly hard \u2014 due to inexperience and the huge competition from models around the world. That\u2019s when I realized I was only at the beginning and that I had a lot to learn, to be persistent and patient. People think it\u2019s all glamorous, but there is a lot of sacrifice behind it. You have to work on your body, your communication, your presentation in front of clients\u2026 so many things nobody ever thinks about.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

His motto is simple:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cIf you believe in a goal and give your best, you attract the opportunities you need.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With that mindset, he booked his first show at Milan Fashion Week \u2014 a moment that made everything easier from then on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Major fashion achievements<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has walked for numerous prestigious fashion brands, but one stands out:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dolce & Gabbana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThat may be my biggest success because they are extremely selective with their models. Walking for them is an incredible feeling \u2014 knowing you are part of such a major brand.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another highlight was participating in the campaign shoot for Giorgio Armani \u2013 Aqua di Gio in Greece, where he met top models Jason Morgan and Barbara Palvin, the faces of the fragrance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He has also worked with Dsquared2, Moschino and many others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Travel that shapes a life<\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI\u2019ve been to Italy, England, Germany, Greece, Malaysia, Japan, South Africa, China, Bali\u2026 One of my next goals is America. Traveling is an incredible experience \u2014 you meet new people, cultures, friends. It\u2019s a treasure that stays with you forever.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Today Luka collaborates with leading world agencies, while during summer he focuses on his own business in nautical tourism, offering private speedboat tours under the brand Remember Istria.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As for love \u2014<\/p>\n\n\n\n

he hasn\u2019t met his soulmate yet, but he is fully ready for the right one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
